Change management issues in franchising companies can be critical and crucial. Consider if you will the district manager or regional representative who helps franchisees and makes sure they are in fact all holding up the confidential operations manual and guidelines of the franchising company. You can imagine how important this is because the franchisors brand is riding on the quality and consistency of each and every outlet that the franchisor has. During change management the franchisee who had a relationship with the regional representative all at once and suddenly has to get to know a new person. Unfortunately the new regional representative or district manager is very busy learning ropes and trying to meet all the different franchisees who constantly need assistance and guidance in their franchise operations.
