Fear Mastery - Steps to Overcome Obstacles

What is fear? Where does it come from? We know logically that we should not have these fears, but emotionally these fears are larger than life. These fears we have learned through out our life. In fact, we are only born with 2 fears. A new born baby only has 2 fears: the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. If these are the only fear you were born with all the other fears are learned. If you learned these fears you can unlearn them.

Where do your fears come from?

  • Society

  • Experience

  • Parents

  • Self

  • Worry

Are your current day-to-day anxieties stronger than your long-term fears. How bad do you really want it? What do you really want out of life? How much has fear cost you throughout your life? Are you just going through the motions or are you ready for success. Is your desire for success stronger than you little fears that creep up on a day-to day basis? Thats why I want to ask Are you singing the words or are you singing the song. Are you just going through the motion or are you ready for success, regardless of the cost. We all have fears. Lets get over it. Again what has fear cost you?

OK face it, we all have fears we need to deal with. The question you need to ask yourself is: where does this fear come from? Why does this fear pull me down? What are the triggers to this fear? Or in other words, what happens that causes this fear to rear its ugly face. Where did I learn this fear? Is it a real or imagined fear? Is it time to look fear in the face? We all have two voices inside our head. Which one are you listening to? It is all about looking fear in the face? Is it time to do what you are afraid of? I guarantee when you face you fears and do what you are afraid of, you will say that wasnt so bad. Why did it affect my life, I can do it. Take a look at your past victories. What have you done in that past that put you on the top? Use a victory list to put you in the zone.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, I lived thought this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.

What is your losers limp? You ask someone to play a game and he says sure Ill try but my knee is really hurting I will see how well I do. I'm tired, don't feel well. Never make excuses before you try. You are feeding your subconscious mind with an excuse why it is OK to fail. A losers limp is your pre excuse to fail.

Imagine you are about to close the deal of a lifetime. This could set you up for life. All of a sudden, this fear creeps up and pulls you down. What feat is it? How can you get past this fear?

Persuasion is the missing puzzle piece that will crack the code to dramatically increase your income, improve your relationships, and help you get what you want, when you want, and win friends for life. Ask yourself how much money and income you have lost because of your inability to persuade and influence. Think about it. Sure youve seen some success, but think of the times you couldnt get it done. Has there ever been a time when you did not get your point across? Were you unable to convince someone to do something? Have you reached your full potential? Are you able to motivate yourself and others to achieve more and accomplish their goals? What about your relationships? Imagine being able to overcome objections before they happen, know what your prospect is thinking and feeling, feel more confident in your ability to persuade. Professional success, personal happiness, leadership potential, and income depend on the ability to persuade, influence, and motivate others.
